Rec Room
The BARC Recreation Room -is a great place to gather for adult groups, families, or teens. The Rec Room is perfect for birthdays, hangouts for clubs, parties for work, card-game or board-game groups, etc. Since it was originally a school band room, there is a stage which could accommodate a casual concert or recital. Built in 1952, this was originally the Band Room for the Windom High School. BARC staff and volunteers started refurbishing the room in 2017 with new windows and air-conditioning units. Last summer, a drop-tile ceiling and new light fixtures were installed, plus the walls and cabinets received a fresh coat of paint.
To rent the Rec Room for your gathering, contact the BARC office at 507-831-2375. Food and beverages are welcome.
